Today marks the anniversary of the release of 5 Seconds of Summer’s their sophomore album Sounds Good Feels Good.
The album debuted number one on the Billboard 200 charts having 192,000 album equivalent sales in the first week.
Sounds Good Feels Good has such a different and deeper sound than we’ve heard before. Each song tells a story, a story full of emotion from who wrote it. You can hear the growth of not only the band musically but lyrically. The emotions of the stories they’re telling created a special bond between them and their fans.For the anniversary we wanted to take a deeper, more in-depth look at each song individually and try to understand the story, try to understand the emotions they’re feeling.
The band has recently completed their widely successful Sounds Live Feels Live world tour. The fans were ecstatic to hear these songs live- getting a different feel for the song and hearing pure, raw emotions.
